How to Spot Your Strength
How to Spot Your Strength is learning that mental strength has nothing to do with a person’s size, height, age, gender, skin color, or financial status. True strength is not measured by outward appearance. And strength is not always loud or attention-seeking either.
1. You keep going even when you are tired –
Sometimes strength is simply the quiet determination to keep going. It is choosing not to give up, even when life feels difficult. It is showing up despite obstacles, disappointments, or uncertainty. It is recognizing when you need to pivot, start over, or take another path — but refusing to quit altogether. That takes real strength.
2. You adapt instead of completely giving up
You recognize you may need to pivot or start over, but you don’t give up! You push through quietly and steadily. That takes strength.
3. You still care for others
Pain can leave people bitter, hardened, or disconnected from others. But if you can still encourage someone, pray for them, help them, or listen while carrying your own burdens, that reveals the depth of your character.
There is a scripture
My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
– 2 Corinthians 12:9
Many people believe strength means never crying or never struggling. But true strength is staying grounded while facing what scares you, what hurts you, and what fills you with doubt or uncertainty.
It is in these moments that you choose peace over panic and faith over fear.
Grace and peace!
