This question will be addressed from both a spiritual and worldly perspective.

Spiritual side first.

The absolute, thumbs-up, most important things to live a good life are the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

That is the foundation of who I am. I find that the more I draw closer to Him (the Lord), the closer He draws to me. Or maybe He was there all along, and I just realized it.

Each morning when I open my eyes, it gets sweeter and sweeter. God is the epitome of peace, and I believe that to achieve this, it is necessary to have a relationship with Him.

That will be the only way to know Him for yourself. That will be the only way to experience His peace, even when you are facing a storm.

In a nutshell, what is needed to have a good life is a relationship with the Father.

An honest man is afraid of the Lord, but some men are not honest. A man like that thinks that the Lord is not important.

Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually.

The Worldly side

Peace of mind is everything. When your mind is filled with fear, anger, and chaos, it is difficult to appreciate what’s in front of you. Do you know someone who always has a complaint and is never happy, even though to the outside world they seem to have it all? They have –

• Health
• Shelter
• Food
• Water
• Bills paid
• Loved Ones

That is because their minds have not been renewed, and they lack a close relationship with the Lord.

Therefore, no matter what you say or do, they will not feel like they have a good life.

Renewing your mind means shifting your thinking from “what about me” and worldly things to discovering more of God’s values and truths.

This scripture says it all

Do not let yourselves be like the people who belong to this world. But instead, let God change how you think. Then you will become new people; You will be able to understand what God wants you to do. You will understand what is good. You will understand what makes God happy. And you will understand how to live completely as God wants you to live.
