If humans had taglines, what would yours be?

Don’t Judge Me

Up until a few years ago I did not know what a tagline was.

Since then, I realized I had been reading and saying them all along.

For Example

Nike’s “Just Do It”

Burger King “Home of the Whopper”

Coca Cola “Taste the Feeling”

M&M’s “Melt in your mouth, not in your hands”

Okay, I get it now. Since then, I have read some ways to create your tagline.

5 Tips for Writing Catchy Taglines and Slogans

  1. Share your commitment
  2. Keep it short and sweet
  3. Make it fun
  4. Highlight what makes your company different.
  5. Be honest

I digressed – the question is, if humans had taglines, what would mine be?

Hum

Seek peace, seek happiness,

Embrace peace, find happiness.

At this point, my world centers around peace, calmness, and happiness. I have learned not to sweat the small stuff and that people (including myself) are human, making mistakes, and being flawed. I have learned not only to forgive others but to forgive myself.

When I understood that, my relationship with the LORD increased, and empathy and peace came to the forefront.

“Many people think excitement is happiness… But when you are excited, you are not peaceful. True happiness is based on peace,” –

 Thich Nhat Hanh

“Peace is not something you wish for, it is something you make, something you are, something you do and something you give away. ”

― Robert Fulghum

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7
