There’s Still More!
There’s Still More!
Have you ever stopped to consider how many things you’ve survived that you once thought would break you?
Think about the disappointments you didn’t expect. The conversations you wish had gone differently. The relationships that changed. The doors that closed. The prayers that weren’t answered the way you wanted. The moments when you wondered how you’d make it through.
And yet…
You’re still here.
That’s why birthdays can mean more than cake and candles. Getting another year isn’t just about getting older. It can remind us that God has given us more time.
More time to love and heal
And more time to forgive and learn.
More time to serve and to laugh.
Oh, and more time to get some things right.
Maybe you made mistakes this past year. Learn from them.
Or maybe someone hurt you. Give yourself permission to heal.
You may have lost someone or something important. Give yourself permission to grieve.
Maybe you experienced an unexpected blessing. Stop and thank God for it.
Life will continue to change. People will change. Circumstances will change. We will change.
The question is: What will we do with these changes?
This month, I’m choosing to view life changes through the lens of what they’ve taught me. I’m not celebrating because everything has been easy. I’m celebrating because God has been faithful through it all.

And if you’re reading this today, you have something to celebrate, too.
You’re still breathing. You’re still here. And your story isn’t finished.
So don’t rush past this moment.
Take a breath.
Thank God.
Look at how far you’ve come.
Then take the next step.
There may still be more hurt to heal, more lessons to learn, more love to give, more memories to make, and more purpose to fulfill.
If God has given you another year, perhaps He’s reminding you that there is still more.
