The secret to a better life

The secret to a better life in one sentence: Trust God and always put Him first!

I know some may be thinking, “No, it’s wealth, health, and great relationships.” And while all these things on some level will make one’s life a bit better, you would not be able to enjoy it to the fullest if you first don’t build a strong foundation, and that would be to trust God and always put Him first!

When you place your faith in Him, you open the door to a world of hope, guidance, and peace. This promise helps you deal with tough times. You can feel strong and hopeful because God is with you, whether things are hard or going well.

In doing so, you develop a deeper spiritual connection that enriches your daily life and positively influences others, creating a ripple effect of love and kindness. Prioritizing your relationship with God inspires you to live with purpose and integrity, leading to a fulfilling and meaningful life.

But we must take the first step and trust Him. To trust someone is to know them. You cannot trust something or someone you do not know.

That is why it is important to get to know who God is. One way is through His names.

I have many names and titles – I am a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. I have a first name, a middle name, a nickname, and a pen name. You get the picture: in each of these roles, I display the characteristics of that role.

Our Father has many titles and names. Some I shared in my last post.

Find Peace Now with the 10 Names of God!

Each name reveals His wonderful character. As you learn His names, you realize that our LORD loves us! He truly does!

One of our LORD’s titles is ‘Wonderful Counselor,’ a beautiful name that shows His incredible wisdom and His special ability to guide us through life’s twists and turns. As the Wonderful Counselor, He shares insights that light our way, helping us find clarity when things feel confusing or uncertain.

His advice is always rooted in love and understanding, giving us comfort and confidence as we face challenges.

Whether we’re making tough decisions or seeking guidance during difficult times, we can find peace knowing that the Wonderful Counselor’s help is always close at hand, guiding us toward happiness and well-being.

Amen!

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will do it.
