How to find promises

How to find promises in the Word for your loved ones and friends is easier now than ever. If you have a Bible, you can look in the back for the concordance.

Or you can go online, type in what your friend or loved one is going through, and there will be an expanse of information and scriptures to choose from.

Intercessory prayer isn’t about having perfect words. It is about having a willing heart.

That is the power of standing in the gap.

Intercession Prayer

One of the most beautiful examples of intercession is Abigail in 1 Samuel 25. While her husband Nabal acted foolishly and insulted David, Abigail responded with humility, wisdom, and courage. Her actions prevented bloodshed and saved her entire household.

Thank you for this encouraging reflection. I believe one of the greatest strengths of prayer is that it reminds us we are not meant to carry another person’s burden with words alone, but also with compassion, presence, and action.

Whatever our faith tradition, genuine hope becomes most meaningful when it inspires us to serve others with kindness, responsibility, and love. Sometimes the greatest comfort we can offer is simply letting someone know they are not alone in their struggle.

Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful message.
