A african american teacher
Daily writing prompt
What profession do you admire most and why?

What Job Do I Love Most?

1. What profession do I admire most about others?

Before I start, I have the utmost respect for a host of jobs, including those in the medical field, science, fire service workers, law enforcement, and volunteer workers, among many other honorable professions.

And while I am at it, motherhood, fatherhood, and guardianship, my list could go on and on. However, I will stop and give you the one that came to my mind first when I read the daily prompt question.

That is anyone who teaches children and young adults, anyone who pours into our children for the purpose of teaching them, inspiring them to be great, watching their eyes light up when they begin to understand the lesson.

A great teacher inspires you to want to do better and to want to learn. They encourage you; a good teacher will help a student realize their potential and promote growth.

A good teacher is fair, empathetic, compassionate, and will meet students’ needs for growth, realizing that not everyone learns the same.

What Makes a Great Teacher?

“The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.”

— William Arthur Ward

I admire teachers and scientists (medical field)! Why? It requires an immense amount of patience and you truly have to enjoy what you do! Scientists are intelligent and people in the medical field usually genuinely love helping people
