Celebrating holidays is such a personal matter!
What looks like a celebration to some may not appear like one to others.
Certain holidays require some of us to look beyond the lights, candy, eggs, chocolates, gifts, costumes, and parties and find the true meaning of why we are celebrating.
In reality, it’s about connection and intentionality. Why are you engaging in the activities associated with this particular holiday? Is it due to tradition, religion, or because society and advertisements suggest it is the right thing to do?
The following holidays coming up are Earth Day, Cinco De Mayo, and Mother’s Day.
