Peace of Wisdom

Today, we are dealing with challenging people in our lives

Depending on your view, this is the near start of a new week or almost the middle of a week. And this allows us to get it right or right some wrongs.

You may be struggling with someone who has created a challenge for you. This could be a loved one, friend, colleague, or stranger.

There could be a misunderstanding, miscommunication, or a child who will not behave no matter what you have done or a difficult colleague.

You are experiencing headaches; your mind is in turmoil, and there is no peace in sight, and you have all but given up on the person. But before you make that decision, hear me out.

Finding clarity and purpose can be tough, especially when dealing with uncertainties or obstacles. It is important to understand that feeling unsettled or facing misunderstandings is normal in life’s story.

Embracing these moments as chances to grow and learn can help you gain valuable insights and develop personally.

By approaching each challenge with an open mind and a willingness to learn, you may find the wisdom and perspective needed to navigate life’s complexities.

Remember, it’s okay not to have all the answers right now as long as you continue to move forward with courage and resilience. Your journey is not about having all the answers; it’s about having the strength to keep moving, learning, and growing. That is what will lead you to the answers you seek.

Today, we are dealing with challenging people in our lives

Family, Friends, or Colleagues

It’s understandable to feel frustrated when others behave in hurtful or disrespectful ways.

It can be disheartening when someone speaks rudely, interrupts conversations, ignores calls or takes credit for your work.

These actions can certainly be irritating, and it’s important to acknowledge those feelings.

Do Not Give Up – Switch Your Thinking

Give them the benefit of the doubt first. They could be having a bad day, or something happened that upset them, and unfortunately, you were the closest one nearby that they took it out on.

Try not to take it too personally. Always be willing to be self-aware, check and make sure you are not having a bad day, and do not let your mood transfer to others.

Pray for them, it is hard to curse the person when you are praying for them.

Our Children

Oh, our precious children, whether children, teens, young adults, or adults, are still our children.

And nothing will ever be able to change that. Whether they came from us or not or are a part of our DNA, we have a responsibility to lead, encourage, and guide them.

Because of that, they can tug at our heartstrings the most and cause us the most pain and stress when they go astray.

Do Not Give Up – Switch Your Thinking

The great thing about our children is that someone loves them more than us. And that is God our Father.

He knows what to do with them. Our responsibility is to always intercede for our children, young or old, in or out of the house, whether they are parents or not.

We are always to pray for them and ask that God’s influence be in their lives.

There is only so much we can see and do as parents; however, God sees everything and knows how to handle our children. He may use you or someone else to help guide them.

But trust the process; God knows better than we do.

Here are some things to pray for when it comes to our children

  • Health
  • Protection
  • Wisdom and understanding in their day-to-day activities
  • Spouses that will love them
  • God is their head
  • Wisdom when they become parents

Summing this Up

Remember to start changing your internal dialogue

Whatever curb ball life throws at you – you will always have the greater One in you to turn that negativity into something positive. It will depend on how you view it.

Change your thinking and watch the doors of opportunity open up for you!
