HOWEVER

Feeling Awesome in Your Singlehood

Embracing the journey of self-discovery and contentment in your own company is a remarkable phase. It signifies personal growth, self-love, and empowerment. During this time, you can explore your interests, build meaningful relationships, and pursue individual goals without needing validation from others.

Feeling awesome allows for developing a strong sense of self-worth and independence, fostering an appreciation for your unique qualities and capabilities. It’s a time to make choices that align with your values and aspirations and prioritize self-care and well-being as essential components of a fulfilling life.

Because —

One does not always have to be defined because they are in a relationship. Self-love and self-appreciation are essential; they are so important that if we do not do this first, loving ourselves, it will not matter whether we are in a relationship or not; we will not be happy.

Or you will always look for the other person to validate, entertain, make you feel good, and make you happy. That is a lot of pressure to put on one person when we should work those things out ourselves.

Love is a complicated and personal journey that often leads to learning about ourselves and developing.

If we have not taken care of ourselves, the foundation, then adding a relationship on top of that will be miserable for the both of you and not last.

When people love themselves and are content with their uniqueness, whether they are healing from a relationship or simply deciding to love themselves and go it alone, I notice some things.

  • They are content
  • They are not envious of other relationships
  • They are not trying to sabotage other relationships
  • They are not afraid to be by themselves sometimes
  • They take their selves out to breakfast, lunch, dinner, movies
  • They know how to treat themselves with tender love and care.

If You Are in The Painful Lows of Being Single

If your goal is not to live a single life, it can be disheartening to remain single despite your desire to be in a relationship. There could be numerous reasons why an individual is single when they don’t want to be.

Low Self-Esteem/Low Self-Worth

Cynical

Angry

It is crucial to understand that your emotional state is detectable to others and can have a significant impact on your relationships with them. It is especially true for those closest to you.

Therefore, it is essential to take the time you need to heal and recover. This process may involve allowing yourself to experience the full range of emotions that come with the end of a relationship, including sadness, anger, and frustration.

It is also essential to reach out to close friends and family members for support and comfort during this time. However, suppose you find that your emotions are affecting your daily life or are challenging to manage. In that case, it may be necessary to seek professional help from a mental health professional to guide you through the healing process.

Remember, taking care of your emotional well-being is essential to your overall health and happiness.
