How to Find Direction

How to Find Direction

There are seasons in life when you don’t know what comes next. You may have prayed, thought things through, and talked to people you trust, yet still feel like you’re standing at a crossroads.

When life feels unclear, it can be tempting to rush into a decision simply because you dislike the uncertainty. But sometimes God uses seasons of uncertainty to teach us to slow down, listen, and trust Him.

Here is what I know

You don’t have to know everything today.

And you don’t have to understand the entire journey.

You have to trust God enough to take the next step.

Scripture:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” —

Proverbs 3:5-6

Prayer:

Father, when life feels unclear, help me resist the urge to rush ahead simply because I am uncomfortable with uncertainty. Give me wisdom to recognize my next step and patience when You are asking me to wait. Help me trust You when I cannot see what is ahead. Quiet the noise around me and within me so I can recognize Your direction. Remind me that I am never walking alone.

Grace and Peace! Amen.
