How to Use Music to Connect with Others

How to Use music to connect with others and discover that loneliness disappears.

I am not what you would call a music person. I go in and out with music. When I hear a song I like I may play it many times and then not play it any more. I can go for days without listening to music.

But there are times when the right kind of music at the right time hits the spot perfectly. And when I turn it on, the music works its magic.

Or when I turn on my television and see a group of people who are in sync with each other, dancing and singing to music, whether it is a concert, a workout class, or line dancing. Everyone in that place is in tune with the music and with each other. Regardless of race, sex, or gender, everyone is in tune with the lyrics and melody. It is a beautiful sight to see.

Here are a few ways to ease loneliness and connect with others while getting your groovy on.

You could share your playlist

Or you could attend live concerts.

You could join a community choir.
