Lifts My Spirit

Lifts My Spirit – My family I absolutely love every last one of them. Some say you can’t live with them and you can’t live without them.

Okay, there are moments. Lol

There have been times when my family has surprised me with a visit. Some live nearby, just up the street or around the corner, while others are in completely different states.

Every visit is special—but the ones who travel the distance hold a unique place in my heart. It humbles me, because I understand how busy life is for them. Our children are in a demanding season—balancing school, preparing for graduation, and managing a full schedule of activities, rehearsals, and practices.

So when they choose to step away from all of that and show up—whether for a birthday celebration or even a Super Bowl game—it means everything to us.

I truly value the family who lives close and visits often. Their presence never goes unnoticed.

But there’s just something about the effort, the intention, and the love behind those long-distance visits.

At the end of the day, it’s the connection… it’s the love… and it’s the willingness to show up regardless of the distance.

I love you family, I always have and I always will.

Breathe deeply. Let go. God’s peace meets us right where we are.
