I suppose you can guess by the title that I would travel to the great continent of Africa.

There are seven continents.

Asia

1. Africa is the second largest continent in the world with 1,393.676,444 (1.3billion people)

North America

South America

Antarctica

Europe

Zealandia

2. There are 54 countries on the continent of Africa.

3. Over two thousand languages are spoken in Africa. Swahili is the most spoken language.

4. Africa is known as the birthplace of humanity.

5. It is the hottest continent on Earth.

6. Egypt is the most popular tourist destination in Africa, attracting around 10 million visitors each year.

7. Islam is currently the largest religion in Africa, while Christianity follows closely behind.

8. The United States, China, India, New Zealand, Argentina and Europe could all fit within Africa.

9. Ethiopia is the only country in Africa with its alphabet, Ethiopic. It has a whopping 345 letters

10. The ancient Egyptian city of Kahun was the first planned city in the world.

There are many other interesting facts about Africa. This is a continent that is on my list to visit. I would visit West Africa, which includes rich countries such as Togo, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Guinea, and Benin.
