Two little words – ‘Take Care.’
Two Word Phrases That Boost Your Mood Now ‘Take Care.’
You want to give serious attention to what you are doing and sometimes what you say.
I remember hearing this phrase many times growing up. I thought it just meant to be careful and don’t hurt yourself. You know like fall down are something. My mother use to say it when her guest would leave the house.
Of course, ensuring they get home safely is important, especially if they’re facing a challenging situation. And offering gentle encouragement to be cautious and mindful can help them navigate it carefully and confidently.
However, as I grew older, I understood that those simple words ‘take care’ conveyed so much more. They reflected a genuine concern and deep care for the person being addressed, showing just how much we value each other’s well-being.
The phrase ‘Take Care’ carries a deep sense of concern and kindness. When you express it to someone, you’re not only wishing them to be cautious but also showing that you genuinely care about their well-being and want them to be mindful of their circumstances.
Here are some things to ‘take care’ of in –
- Take care not to overextend yourself this season
- Take care not to overindulge this season.
- Take care to remember those less fortunate than you
- And take care to be kind to yourself.
During this holiday season, my heartfelt wish for you is to prioritize your well-being. Remember that you are surrounded by people who care deeply for you and genuinely want the best for you.

Be careful what you set your heart upon – for it will surely be yours.
While proclaiming peace with your lips, be careful to have it even more fully in your heart.
