How to Identify Traits of Good People versus Bad People
The idea that our choices shape our character and the course of our lives.
Solomon’s wisdom in sharing the consequences of choices serves as a timeless reminder of the power and responsibility inherent in our decision-making.
By highlighting the link between good choices and being considered a good person, the scripture exhorts us to consider the moral and ethical dimensions of our actions, pointing towards a vision of personal and collective flourishing rooted in conscious, virtuous decision-making.
The concept is that good people usually possess the fruit of the spirit.
- Galatians 5:22 love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, and faith. When they do then good things will follow.
On The Other Side
Proverbs Chapter 11
Verse 23
Bad people may get what they want. But then God will punish them.

- The latter part of this passage talks about individuals who choose to make negative decisions, displaying traits such as lack of self-control, destructive or harmful behavior, and a lack of sympathy or empathy.
These traits lead to harmful outcomes. While these individuals may do (jail time, hurt, lose everything) some may not face immediate consequences for their actions, they will not escape the notice of God.
There is a Third Side
It is a common occurrence for a good-hearted person to make mistakes. Even though they still have love, joy, and peace within them, they can still falter. when such instances occur, they may have to face the consequences of their actions.
