Starting a new week offers a fresh beginning and the opportunity to shape the days ahead. Whether it’s the traditional Monday start or another day that signifies the beginning of your week, embracing it with a positive and proactive mindset is crucial.

We are on self-love and self-appreciation. And we will continue to add to what puts us in our Happy Place. I’m going to cover seemingly two unrelated items to be simplified.
Last time we decluttered our minds and people stuff, I ended the post with the quote below. –

We briefly discussed the mental clutter to clear our souls. Now, we are on the physical clutter to clear our minds. Decluttering works if you are feeling overwhelmed and anxious.
Sitting time aside to declutter or clear space can be freeing and therapeutic. It could be a room, a closet, a purse, or a wallet. Your car, toybox, or drawer do not have to be big things, yet it will feel such a relief when you do it.
Clearing physical clutter can incredibly positively impact our mental and emotional well-being. When our physical environment is chaotic and disorganized, it can contribute to overwhelming and stressful feelings.
Taking the time to declutter and organize our surroundings creates a more pleasant and inviting space to live in and provides a sense of accomplishment and control.
I found that this works on whatever I am decluttering.
- Set some time aside.
- Stay focused.
- Have a trash pile, donation pile, and keep pile.
- Deal with each pile as quickly as possible.

I just decluttered my pantry with the help of my granddaughters.
Okay, my three oldest grandgirls worked hard. I was just there cheering them on. You can do this you all got this! Lol.
I explained the process to them:
Check the expiration date,
Get rid of the expired items,
Donate the canned goods,
Clear and organize the pantry.
Can you believe it? They finished everything in just 45 minutes!
Decluttering created closeness with the cousins; hopefully, they will remember the decluttering process take a few tips into their adulthood while appreciating the memories.
And I got a nice, organized pantry out of it – at least until the next time they visit.

I encourage you if you have not already picked something out to simplify, downsize or declutter.
If there is a room, that stresses you out every time you walk into it or a closet and that you cannot fit another thing into.
Schedule some time for this week or the near future to tackle it.
Focus on one thing at a time and deal with each item separately. and before you know it you will have conquered that area, and it will no longer has power over you!
