Many Women Settle for a Spouse/Partner –
I did not say all, but many do, and sometimes the reason behind marrying may not always be because of love. Some reasons - They are comfortable; you have already invested time into the relationship, so why not marry? A piece of man is better than no man. The clock ticking, and you are not getting any younger? These are never good reasons to marry or commit yourself to a relationship because, eventually, bitterness will take root and grow.
Poor Communication-
You are trying to communicate with your spouse, and they are not trying to communicate with you, which can lead to frustration and resentment. When a person cannot share or will not share their thoughts, feelings, and concerns with the one they are with, that is a quick way to have resentment and misunderstanding in the relationship.

He Denies You Sex and or Affection –
Both are equally needed in a relationship. If you add poor communication with no sex or affection, that is one unhappy wife. She is not only frustrated in not being able to express herself to her husband mentally, but now you are adding in physically. That is a relationship headed for trouble.
***If there is something going on physically with you men, then that needs to be a conversation had with your spouse. They may be more understanding than you think.
Things that matter to your woman -should matter to you or at least pretend that it does – I have been told we women can be some emotional people.
Well guess what?
So can men especially about what they enjoy: sports, food, out with the fellas, when you want intimacy and sex.
The woman is the same way hers may be in different areas. This does not mean you get to discard them. If she feels discarded by her partner, that will not be good for both of you in the long run.
He flirts with other women. – Yea. Nope.
- No woman want their husband/partner flirting with other women.
- Yes, there are attractive women all around,
- And yes, one may have looked at you a certain way and said you were cute.
- But if you want less arguing and drama, flirting with your wife is probably your safest bet.
That can be one of the quickest ways to find yourself on the outside looking in - in your relationship. Because flirting, whether it is in person, on the phone, or social media, is not suitable for the relationship or you.

Unequal Division of Labor –
When you both got together, there may have been an agreement on who does what.
However, there are seasons in a marriage where the load may be heavier on the women.
For instance, if she works outside the home, she has to come home, clean, cook, and take care of the children and their needs and yours. And you have employment and come home and put your feet up because you are trying to relax.
That will get old after a while. I can go in many directions with this one; however, I will save it for another time. Men, look and see where you can help, or ask your wife what you can do to help. Now she will feel you are more her partner.
Lack of Emotional Support –
this is needed when you see your wife struggling with a hard day at work, just received a call from your child's teacher, tired and drained, and not feeling well…pray for her and give her that emotional support she needs; otherwise, she will feel abandoned and alone. You must do your part to nurture the relationship as well.

Craving attention and validation –
If your wife/partner is craving attention and validation, she will go elsewhere, such as her friends, family, and children, if she cannot get it from you. However, she needs it from you.
Because, unfortunately, another man may come along and say and do what you should be doing and saying. And that never ends well.
When he is critical –
It is not a good idea to always focus on the negativity. Yes, there will be things you will not like, and that needs to be communicated.
However, do not let that be the only thing you tell her. Please tell me what you appreciate about her as well.
When he is belittling,
that can damage your wife's self-esteem and self-worth. Trust me when I say that is never good. She may eventually gather the courage to walk away from you because everyone deserves to be heard and treated with dignity and respect.
Summing It Up
Okay, menfolk, if you recognize that you may be doing some of these things on the list. It is time to have a heart-to-heart conversation with your loved one. This is not man-bashing. This is trying to keep and preserve your relationship.
