How To Start Your Week Off Right with a Good Sunday!

Sunday is the start of my week. It always has been. Some say Monday is the first day of the week. Even some calendars list Monday as the first day, while others show Sunday as the first day of the week. It depends on the person.

For me, Sunday is a day to recharge and reflect on what I’ll be doing from Monday to Saturday.

Sunday is the day I set aside to go to church and worship the LORD with others.

Yes, I worship during the week, read my word, pray, and enjoy myself in God’s goodness. However, Sunday is one of the days of the week I purpose to meet up with other like-minded people like myself and worship the LORD.

Yesterday, I heard this song titled ‘God Is’ by Rev. James Cleveland

And I became stuck on the two words ‘God Is’, two words that hold such power that they speak volumes.

The word ‘Is’ is a connecting verb that connects a subject to a noun. In other words, it is a linking verb.

‘Is’ is a linking verb that means to exist, to do, to act. To say these two words ‘God Is’ is saying that God exists, that He acts, and that He will do.
